NATIVE HEALTH is pleased to announce the Living Well Traditionally (LWT) Youth Diabetes Prevention Camp, Monday, June 3–Friday, June 7, 2019 for Native American children, ages 10-13. LWT Summer Camp will be held at Camp Colley in Happy Jack, AZ. There is a $75 registration fee per child. Scholarships are available.

Deadline for applications is Friday, May 17, 2019. If you live in Maricopa County, your child’s physical must be completed by a NATIVE HEALTH medical provider. NATIVE HEALTH provides transportation within 15 miles of our facilities, should you need a ride to see our providers.
NATIVE HEALTH is entering its 17th year offering American Indian/Alaskan Native youth tools to reduce the risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes. In addition to offering a fun outdoor camping experience, the LWT Summer Camp also provides education on the importance of nutrition, physical activity, self-esteem, diabetes prevention, and traditional activities. Please read the entire packet with your child so everyone has a successful and enjoyable time.
