NATIVE HEALTH’s Health Start Program Indigenous Courses presents its third workshop: Creating a Postpartum Plan–Connecting Past and Present, on Tuesday, June 29, 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. via Zoom, instructed by Felica Ruiz.

Your birth plan is in order and the nursery is set—now it’s time to prepare for navigating life after the baby arrives. In Felicia’s It Takes a Village Postpartum Workshop, you will create a plan for a confident, supported, and nourishing fourth trimester experience. Together we will:

  • Envision your Postpartum time
  • Explore your family goals, cultural priorities
  • Discuss how to identify and understand your needs, and ways to ask for support
  • Combine these elements to build supportive village for your healing

The first 25 participants who register below will receive, by mail, a Simply Genius 92 page Soft Cover A5 Journal.

Felicia Cocotzin Ruiz is a curanderismo practitioner, natural foods chef, and folk herbalist working nearly three decades teaching food as medicine–in efforts to educate and support her community back to health both physically and spiritually.

If there are any questions please feel free to reach out to Daili Lister at (480) 550-4048, ext. 3810 or email: dlister@nachci.com
