Native H.O.P.E. Workshop

The Native H.O.P.E. (Helping Our People Endure) Program is a free, two day, online workshop that intentionally creates a safe and sacred place through culture, spirituality, and humor for participants to share openly and honestly about the challenges in their lives and make commitments to make positive changes their attitudes and behaviors, as well as support each other.

The peer-counseling approach has proven to be highly effective for Native Youth to break the “code of silence.” This Process allows Native Youth to help their friends and peers to get through crisis situations and make the necessary referrals for help and support. This model includes training community members and adapt to group process skills to continue ongoing “boosters” prevention and leadership activities.

The Native H.O.P.E. program will be facilitated by the NATIVE HEALTH Youth Resiliency Program staff, and by Kayla Rae Wakeland, NATIVE HEALTH Behavioral Health Case Manager. Register below to receive the Zoom link.
