This program is supported by the Grant 5 NU65PS004727-03, funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Its contents are solely the responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the official views of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention or the Department of Health and Human Services.
For the commitment to ‘Healthy People in Healthy Communities’ NATIVE HEALTH is an “Opt-Out” HIV testing facility, which means anyone between the age of 13 to 64 will be offered and given an HIV test unless the patient explicitly refuses. Those who accept the test need only to give verbal consent. Per Arizona State Law, children ages 13 and older, may be tested for HIV and other Sexually Transmitted Infections without parental consent.
