Join the NATIVE HEALTH Indigenous Wellness Program for a virtual workshop on the basics of canning at home on Thursday, July 16, 2020. Preserving food at home can be a great way to expand your pantry, save money, and preserve fresh produce. In this virtual workshop we will go over the basics of water bath canning, equipment, and guidelines for canning safely. We will demonstrate two recipes –low-sugar Strawberry Jam and Mesquite Jelly, which will showcase the basic methods to begin experimenting with different recipes at home.
