NATIVE HEALTH Mesa is participating in the Arizona Department of Health Services COVID-19 Testing Blitz on Saturday, May 30, 2020, 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at NATIVE HEALTH Mesa, 777 West Southern Avenue in Mesa. The testing will be done by drive-in, so please use the South Cherry Street entrance off of West Southern Avenue (see map). There will be no out-of-pocket costs. To qualify, a person must believe he or she was exposed to the virus or who are not feeling well and make a commitment to self-isolate for several days while waiting for results. Symptoms of COVID-19 include cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat and/or new loss of taste or smell. If you are experiencing severe symptoms like shortness of breath, seek healthcare immediately. Positive cases will be asked to isolate for 7 days.
Arizona’s Governor Doug Ducey has launched the coronavirus “testing blitz” as health officials have said widespread testing is an important pre-requisite to reopening businesses and loosening social distancing restrictions.
