Native American River Cane Flute Making Class

Join us for our Native American River Cane Flute Making Class, led by Aaron White. These classes will take place on Thursday, January 11, at 10:00 a.m. at NATIVE HEALTH Central, 4041 N Central Ave, Building C in Phoenix and on Thursday, January 18, at 10:00 a.m. at NATIVE HEALTH Mesa, 777 W Southern Ave, Building B in Mesa.

During this two to three-hour workshop, participants will have the unique opportunity to craft their own River Cane Flute under the expert guidance of Aaron White.

Optional, in addition to the hands-on flute making, participants will learn fundamental flute techniques and gain insights into the cultural and historical significance of the River Cane Flute for a few hours after the workshop. Aaron White, a Grammy Nominated Award-Winning Guitarist, Singer/Songwriter/Native American Flutist, and Flute Maker, will share his expertise and provide a deeper understanding of the cultural context surrounding the instrument.

This class is specifically for Native American adults aged 18 years and older. All necessary supplies will be provided.
