Interested in plants, plant history, benefits, and tasty recipes? Join us at NATIVE HEALTH Central for two evenings to learn how to cook plants to make nutritious tasty meals while gaining cultural knowledge about the Southwest region. Joining us will be our Community Gardener, Kaya Perry and Dietician, Tara John.

Attend our first class on Thursday, March 13, 2025, to receive your own grow bag and plant some of the ingredients used in our recipe. We will be serving Red Chile Potato Stew to participants who register and attend.

Attend our second class on Thursday, March 27, 2025 to learn how to make Portobello Mushroom Tacos with Rice and Salsa and basic kitchen skills. We encourage you to bring your teens, relatives, or partners to learn how to cook or add more skills to their culinary abilities. Participants will also be entered in a raffle drawing.
