Join us on Wednesday, February 19 at 5:30 p.m. at NATIVE HEALTH Central, Building C – Phoenix for a workshop about what it means to eat seasonally according to our region as well as how we can listen to what our bodies are asking for and nourish ourselves accordingly.
In this workshop, we will explore the ways in which seasonal and local produce offers the opportunity to connect with our body’s cyclical natures. Why do we crave the foods that we crave and how we can attend to these cravings in a holistic and healthy way? Explore the ways in which eating with the seasons is directly rooted to uplifting traditional foods and native foodways.
The first 10 registrants for this workshop will receive a copy of Robin Wall Kimmerer’s most recent book, “The Serviceberry: Abundance and Reciprocity in the Natural World”.
