Join us on Wednesday, June 25th at 8:30 am at Semalulukut Community Garden for Summer and Desert Plants Workshop! In this workshop, we will talk about the resiliency of desert and summer plants- which foods can we grow in the high heat? How do certain plants survive in the summer? How do they conserve water? We will answer these questions while taking a garden walk and identifying the plants growing, the ways these plants adapt, and the ways they may be harvested and used after harvest. We will propagate some plants in the garden and start some seeds of summertime crops. Any seed starts or propagates collected by attendees can be brought home and cultivated.

Closed event for Guadalupe Community. Registration required.
