Yes, if you are on AHCCCS you need to renew each year to stay eligible.

AHCCCS which stands for Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System is Arizona’s Medicaid program that offers health insurance to thousands of Arizonans. You should apply to obtain regular doctor visits at any location AHCCCS is accepted. It also provides you better access to specialty care such as the cardiologist.
