In collaboration with Inter-Tribal Council of Arizona, Phoenix Indian Center, and Secretary of State, NATIVE HEALTH is hosting “Frybread for the Future” on Saturday, June 6, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 3738 N 16th Street (South of Indian School). Enjoy FREE frybread tacos, voter education, Indigenous vendors, AZ Dback NARD ticket raffles, music by IIWAA, live mural art by Selina A. Scott, and more. This event commemorates the 102nd Anniversary of the Indian Citizenship Act of 1924, which granted Native Americans citizenship and the right to vote. Don’t miss this special event honoring our history and shaping our future!
Enjoy FREE frybread tacos, screen printing (while supplies last) by local Indigenous artist TXYZ, and browse an Indigenous market, but most importantly, take the opportunity to register to vote, and learn why the Native Vote matters in Arizona!
Navajo Nation voter registration will be provided by Phoenix Indian Center.
NOTE: The first 100 people will receive limited edition prints by TXYZ. After the 100 are gone, bring your own light-colored garment to get screen printed. 100% cotton preferred. Polyester blends may shrink or burn.
