“What Can I Eat?” is a nutrition education program for adults. The goal of this program is to teach people how to eat in a way to keep their blood sugar healthy. The program is led by NATIVE HEALTH’s Registered Dietitian Sumi Tohan, RD CDCES, CSOWM, and will cover what foods are healthy for people with diabetes, how to eat a healthy amount of these foods, and how to tackle barriers that can make it hard to eat healthfully. Participants will also participate in a hands-on learning activity and practice 10 minutes of physical activity in each class.
This program has four weekly sessions, followed by a reunion, two months after the last class to provide continued support and celebrate ongoing successes in making healthy lifestyle choices. For more information please email: email@example.com
