There are four ways you can apply for healthcare coverage:

Tips for after you apply:

  • Check your mail and online account: The state will send official correspondence by mail, so check your mailbox regularly. Also, create an account on Health-e-Arizona Plus to see letters and alerts, check your application status, and go paperless.
  • Respond to requests promptly: If you receive a request for more information, respond as quickly as possible to avoid delays or denial. If you need to revise your application, you can do so through the online portal.
  • Report changes immediately: Any changes to your income, address, marital status, or household composition must be reported to AHCCCS within 10 days to ensure your eligibility is correctly determined.
  • Once you are approved, you can use your insurance as soon as your next appointment.
  • Once you get your results, be sure to provide your new insurance documents to the front desk at NATIVE HEALTH.
