Sign up for Adult Mental Health First Aid Training VIRTUALLY via Zoom. This live instructor-led session will be on Tuesday, September 22, 10am – 4:45 pm Phoenix time.

Through NATIVE HEALTH’s free Adult Mental Health First Aid training, adults (18+) will learn how to notice, listen, and respond to adults who may be experiencing a mental health or substance abuse challenge.

This training is open to everyone—regardless of profession, background, or experience. All are encouraged to join, and no prior mental health training is required.

You’ll Learn How to:
• Recognize common signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges.
• Understand how life experiences, stress, and trauma can impact mental health.
• Approach and support someone with confidence and compassion.
• Respond to both non-crisis and crisis situations using the Mental Health First Aid Action Plan (ALGEE).
• Connect individuals to appropriate professional and community resources.
• Encourage self-help strategies and other supportive resources.

What to Expect:
After registering through NATIVE HEALTH, you will:
1. Access to your learner account in MHFA Connect.
2. Complete the required 2-hour self-paced online pre-work before the live training.
