NATIVE HEALTH’s Indigenous Wellness Program is hosting What Can I Eat? (WCIE), a 5-Part Nutrition Education Program for Native American adults on Thursdays, August 6-August 27 and on September 24, 2026, all from 5:30-7:00 p.m., at NATIVE HEALTH Central. This program will teach people how to eat in a way to keep their blood sugar healthy and is led by Gabrielle Begay and Sharmayne Hardy. We will cover topics such as learning to eat healthy, making balanced food choices to support nutrition and blood sugar management, and learning how to incorporate physical activity into your daily routine.

This series is perfect for people living with diabetes or anyone who supports a family member, friend, or loved one with diabetes. Whether you’re newly diagnosed or looking to refresh your knowledge, you’ll gain practical tips and tools to support a healthier lifestyle.

Open to Native American adults and families 16+. Participants who complete the entire series will receive a vegetable chopper! A gift will also be given each class.
