Income Eligibility Guidelines

AHCCCS Cheat Sheets

General AHCCCS (for adults without dependent children)

  • 1-person household: $1,735/month
  • 2-person household: $2,345/month
  • 3-person household: $2,954/month
  • 4-person household: $3,564/month
  • For each additional person: Add $610

AHCCCS KidsCare (for children)

  • 1-5 years old: Up to 141% FPL
  • 6-18 years old: Up to 133% FPL
  • Family income up to 225% FPL: A family of four can have an income up to approximately $70,200/year to qualify for AHCCCS KidsCare.

Pregnancy & Infants

  • Expecting mothers: Up to 156% FPL
  • Babies under 1: Up to 147% FPL

 

Important considerations

  • • Income limits change by category, family size, and year.
  • • Some income is not counted, like SSI benefits.
  • • Eligibility is determined for each person based on their specific budget group and category.
